...To put it plainly, Colin Powell is just not dumb enough, not shortsighted enough, not hasty enough, not politically selfish enough, not gullible enough, and not pigheaded enough for the current, Republican brand. There are only two kinds of people that you can dumb down—the dumb and the willing, and Powell seems to have no intentions of being either.
