Yeah... it's pretty terrible Apple is walking backwards on green! I'm a university administrator who is an Apple junkie; been so since 1983 when I bought my first "skinny Mac". Anon-- I am officially impressed. Whenever I say anything negative about Apple I expect a torrent of angry emails and a nasty comment or two. I do not expect a reasoned response. I also respect anyone who puts their money where his mouth is-- as you have done. Kudos!

Maybe someday I will write a post detailing why I loathe Apple but for now I'll just say there's at least one Apple owner who doesn't act like a complete putz.
