i've always received better service from banks than credit unions. at credit unions the lines were always longer and the tellers spent too much time chatting with the customers and each other. my parents deal with a credit union and it always stiffs them with low interest rates on their deposits.

My experience has been just the opposite. Oh well. Different places, I suppose.
