This may seem flimsy, but as staffers are turning on him and as he was stupid enough to threaten, publicly, to do this before he actually did it, Perry is kind of fucked. Some of us here in Austin and elsewhere in the state are wondering if the prosecution is going to use this indictment as a foot in the door to start a real investigation of theTexas Emerging Technology Fund, which has functioned mainly as a mechanism to financially reward Perry's campaign donors.
