When Canada legalized same-sex marriage ten years ago, I was promised roving gangs of gay and lesbian hooligans would break into my house and force my wife and I to have really hot gay sex with them, and perhaps the animals they kept as pets. We waited and waited and waited...I dunno, maybe they lost our address or something.
So we finally gave up and bought a Barcalounger instead.
