HookerGate and Jason Bourne

Well, not really, but this sure seems to have enough potential twists to do Robert Ludlum proud.

Sploid: Hookergate strikes again:
". . .The whole weird CIA exodus may or may not be about the bribery-prostitution scandal that landed Cunningham in prison and is expected to destroy the corrupt careers up to 15 others in Congress and top intelligence and defense positions.

Or, it may be about something else entirely, like the suspicious 'suicide' of John Ellis, the staff director of the House Intelligence Committee who was found dead in a seedy Virginia motel five years ago.

Or maybe it's about the faked Iraq intelligence, or the 9/11 plot.

There are even theories that say Goss and Foggo set up the Hookergate parties as a 'honey trap' or 'honeypot' to blackmail various politicians -- it is a classic CIA operation, though it wouldn't ideally end with the spies themselves forced to quit their high-ranking positions.

The only thing that's clear is whatever's going on has absolutely nothing to do with whatever the White House and the Washington media say."
