Literally, it is Osama bin-Forgotten

A. Alexander, July 6th, 2006

"No really, it is literally Osama bin-Forgotten! Surely, George W. Bush and Republicans remember Osama bin-Laden. He was the guy who masterminded the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City, the Pentagon, and another plane that crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Yes, the guy that killed nearly 3,000 U.S. citizens. The guy that Bush said he wanted to capture "dead or alive". The guy Bush claimed was so super-duper dangerous that he may have developed a synergistic relationship with Iraq's Saddam Hussein and that country's non-existent WMD, which would then have led to a "smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud". For that reason and Hussein's potential love affair with the incredibly evil Osama bin-Laden, Bush invaded Iraq.

Osama bin-Laden was, according to Karl Rove, George W. Bush, and Republicans the reason the American people needed to reject John Kerry and vote for "Dubya". Osama bin-Laden was the reason the American people were supposed to "just say no" to Democrats in 2002 and 2004 and vote Republican. Osama bin-Laden was the reason the Bush administration kept changing colors from yellow to orange, back to yellow again - but hold on, bin-Laden is dangerous so let's jack the code back up to orange. Osama bin-Laden was the reason Bush needed to listen in on America's phone conversations, read their postal mail, browse their email, enter homes without warrants or warnings, observe financial records and, oh hell - the very reason why America needed the entire Patriot Act that included knowing what books people were reading at the Library. Matter of fact, Osama bin-Laden was Bush's entire reason for being. . ."

And now, like New Orleans, he's gone.
