Cylons and the Primary

It's ending, everyone. Sorry I was not a big fan; I sure hope everyone can get over themselves. I just saw one guy on the tube saying that BG was so good that nothing can ever meet the standard it has set. All this time, I thought the DNC contained the most pompous asses in the universe. Guess I was wrong.

I'm not saying it's not good-- I'm just saying it's not God's Gift to SciFiDom. I do like the soundtracks, too. What irritates me is the whole Cylons look just like people thing. They can do all sorts of justification about internal dialogs and the dramatic intensity of not knowing if your spouse is a Cylon (or a pod person for that matter) but I think it all began as a way to cut corners on the budget. Watching a true machine society evolve would, to me, have been a whole lot more interesting than the on-going drama of is-it or ain't-it. That would have also necessitates more budget and more creativity coming up with different machine models.

Baltar is a good villain, tho I think he was more evil in the original; John Colicos (I think) played him and he had double-evil eyebrows!
