My Mother
Margaret Underwood, born in Waynesville, NC 82 years ago, she worked hard her entire life. She raised four children virtually alone. She was a child-bride of World War II and suffered the ultimate loss there-- husband and brother, but she always loved her country and she always voted. She died Feb 1 and I was still so weak from recent surgery that I wasn't there for her the way I should have been. I was also weak from grief for my mom was slipping away and I was feeling very alone, though I was surrounded by people.
I haven't paid all your bills yet but Mom I am working on it. And I haven't come terms yet with the fact that you are gone.
