French Expulsions
Are the French Roma Deportations A Sign of Growing Xenophobia? - TIME: "France has begun the first of 700 deportations of Roma, the so-called 'gypsies,' to Romania and Bulgaria, all part of its controversial crackdown on communities officials hold responsible for criminal activity. The expulsions are set to be completed by the end of the month.
