The commercial "mainstream" media has been in trouble for quite awhile now. I pretty much gave up on it in 1982. After four years of microscopically examining the flaws of the Carter administration, I realized that the same "journalists" were going to give Reagan a free pass for policy and administrative decisions that were far worse than anything Carter had done...That's about the time I became disillusioned with them, but I held out hope--- until the selling of the Iraq war occurred.
