Courts Martials Needed

Think Progress: "This morning, the Washington Post has a story on how lawmakers are being “slimed in the Green Zone” when they travel to Iraq for congressional delegation trips. Reps. James Moran (D-VA), Jon Porter (R-NV), and Ellen Tauscher (D-CA) recently returned from such a trip. While there, Tauscher and Moran noticed sheets of paper that “seemed to be everywhere” in the Green Zone, “distributed to Iraqi officials, U.S. officials and uniformed military of no particular rank.”"

Why the need for courts martial (the proper pluralization)?

The papers contained accurate bios of and accurate quotes from the congresscritters.

Since when is quoting someone "sliming" them --much less illegal?

I didn't think too much about the plural-- I just liked the sound of it. Anyway, why should they be held up for disciplinary action? Simple. Out of context quotes about Republicans are not distributed by the military when they show up, so in the first case the military is showing a political preference. That's not only unethical, it's illegal.

Secondly, the use of set-up dog and pony shows along with the alleged sliming needs to be investigated. Congress and the public need the facts not spin. I could prattle on but then that would be a post.
