Today is the 50th anniversary of LBJ signing the Voting Rights Act (now toothless, thanks, Chief Roberts!) into law. Today is the 70th anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima.
It is also the 14th anniversary of the 'bin Laden determined to strike in U.S.' Presidential Intel memo given to George W. Bush in the comfort and security of his Crawford, Texas 'ranch', to which he replied:
