In Debate, Hillary Clinton Sent a Message to Doubters - The New York Times:

...But Mrs. Clinton allowed herself a little indulgence Wednesday when she was asked about whether her running mate had been on the debate stage the previous night.

“Well, I like the assumption underlying your question a lot” she said with a relish that has not always been evident since she entered the race.

“But I think I’ll wait to answer that.”
