Just watched a rebroadcast of the NC Governor's debate, and one of the things Cooper hung firmly around Mr. Duke McCrory's neck was Donald. It was a moderator question, but Cooper shoved him into that cleft stick and just let him swing.
There were lots of Duke Energy related questions that didn't get asked (coal ash, illegal rates, lying under oath and paying a little fine to get rate increases, stifling clean energy, leaky nuclear plants, frickin *buying* utilities commissioners, etc, etc) but all the powers that be willing, it won't matter with all the other stuff against McCrory. If this corporate crony gets out, Cooper can start cleaning house.
I am so glad to hear that. I have been ranting in various places that our NC candidates are not laying the orange to the red and they really need to do it. Women especially need to realize that the GOP is definitely not their gender's friend!

Laying the orange to the red - I like that!
Hopefully, even the die-hard Republican women will draw the line on this one.
