On Mercy For Terrorists

Mercy My Ass : NO QUARTER: "...The Scottish and FBI investigators initially had assumed that the chip was part of a Toshiba radio. But, with the help of CIA analysts, it was discovered that the chip was from a timer made by Mebo. From that point forward the puzzle of the bombing was assembled into a coherent picture. This act of terrorism was carried out by Libyan intelligence officers with the knowledge and direction of their leader, Muammar Qaddafi.

The release of Baset is an outrage. The Libyan celebration of his return is disgusting. And the Obama Administration’s weak response is sickening. I hope that Megrahi’s death is prolonged and painful. I hope fervently that he is haunted by the faces and voices of those he helped murder. Yesterday was a bad day for combating terrorism."

Is there any upside to this act of compassion? Will any Muslim head be slightly turned toward the Western World? Will relations in any way improve?
