Was The Right Right?


This year in WNC. we have tracked 1953 almost exactly. Couple 1953 and its terrible winter with the Arctic ice expansion and we could see the beginning of Little Ice Age II. I hope I am completely wrong but it looks to be a nasty winter. Many in climate change denialist camp will jump on this as an excuse to continue deregulating industrial pollution (i.e. making more money by poisoning and killing the planet and its people), but I wouldn't get too smug. If you look at geologic time and the four billion year history of Terra, we are still in an ice age. Pay close attention to the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age and you'll see that we need to be concerned about climate change, irregardless of which way it is trending.
