The Democrats don't WANT to win. They want to be the party of the perpetual loss. They do their damndest to make sure they will lose. Edwards was their chance to pull in Republicans, Independents, and the downright apolitical and they threw away their chance. Why in the hell do they think those of us who are under that umbrella will vote for Obama or Clinton? All this talk about pulling the votes of those of us who are not hard core Democrats and uniting behind Obama is self delusion at it's most exquisite. McCain is going to win. And to those of you who let Edwards get away, just remember - you reap what you sow. And you've sown the seeds of another 4 years minimum of a Republican in the WH - because those of us who are not devoted Democrats, those of us you consider unnecessary for winning the election, are voting for McCain."
