Wilder Threatens Convention

On CBS's Face the Nation this morning Doug Wilder threatened riots if Obama doesn't get the nomination. Or, another interpretation, riots if superdelegates steal the nomination from Obama. Either way: riots.

That will certainly help the Democrats win the White House.

so much for hope and unity...

are we going to let people threaten us if we don't vote the way they want us to? sounds like a form of blackmail to me

BO's supporters sink to new lows

as a constituent of Wilder's I must let you know he is ALWAYS threatening and arguing with someone about something...this is not knew whatsoever. I thought he had changed his ways but apparantly NOT. I will make it my mission to support whatever candidate runs against him in any office. This man does NOTHING but inflame situations and enough, is enough!

Wilder said, "If the superdelegates intervene and get in the way of it, and say, `Oh, no, we're going to determine what's best,' there will be chaos at the convention.... And if you think 1968 was bad, you watch: 2008 will be worse."

Is that really threatening to riot?
