From The Lying Eyes Department
World may not be warming, say scientists - Times Online. ...because of inherent biases toward warming in the location of the weather collection stations. Check. Got it. Reasonable position. So when I look at the Arctic ice cap and see it is melting that is because the world is not getting warmer? I'll be more convinced if I see the ice cap growing by leaps and bounds this summer. We may be in for an ice age because the melting ice will flood the Hudson Bay and release quadrillions of gallons of fresh water into the ocean. Being less dense than salt water, the fresh water will sink, bringing the North Atlantic's thermal conveyor belt to a halt. No warm water will flow north and consequently temperatures will plummet in North America. That would be a bad thing.

dylan had it figured out years ago;
you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
