Politics of the Moderate and Other Fictional Tidbits.
So the reverend speaks more truths in his church than Hagee or the rest of the holier than thou clan... I see no problem with that. Now if he had said "Gays and lesbians caused 9-11!" or "Loose women and black rap culture caused God to bring his wrath in the name of Katrina" or "Tinky-winky is gay" or "Feminism is the root of all evil and indoctrinates our children to be gayer" or "The homosexual lifestyle is the most dangerous thing facing America, even more dangerous than radical Islamists" or "God sent George Bush to be our leader in our time of need" or "The end of times is coming folks! So buy all the goddamned duct tape and bottled water your little Christian budgets can muster!" or "Obama is the anti-christ!" the neocon wing of the Republican party would invite him to speak at their Sunday cult worship services... But he spoke a truth that white America cannot or is unwilling to accept and deal with. They, some of "they", will never be able to see that empire is on the march and it doesn't give a friggin' damn what god "they" worship as long as they are bowing to it first.
he's a showman and the show must go on.
Been to those churches; left those churches.
