Nasty Grace Sued

Eat The Press | Nancy Grace Sued By Estate Of Melinda Duckett For Wrongful Death | The Huffington Post: "Nancy Grace Sued By Estate Of Melinda Duckett For Wrongful Death

Nancy Grace and CNN were sued today by the estate and family of Melinda Duckett, the mother of missing toddler Trenton Duckett who committed suicide after being aggressively questioned by Grace on her Headline News show. The family's complaint alleges that 'intentional infliction of emotional distress' and misrepresentation, alleging that Grace enticed Duckett on to the show as a means of helping to find the boy and drawing attention to the case, and then 'harassing and intimidating an anguished and severely mentally distressed mother' under completely false pretenses..."

As far as can be determined at this point, Nancy Grace has not yet been directly connected to any more of her guests deaths on her show this “holiday week” of Thanksgiving. Wow, Nancy, great job!!!!!!! It must be an incredible feeling of accomplishment for you when you are not directly connected to the deaths of innocent people you have so scornfully criticized and falsely accused when they really are nothing more than victims themselves. And, what an inprovement over your most recent victim of Ms Duckett, where you have been alledged to be an instigator to Ms Duckett’s ultimate suicide for your inability to address the needs f a psychologically-distraught mother of a missing child. Even with Nancy never being a victim of any crime herself, she has a severe deficient in knowing what to do, or what she should do under such circumstances. But, without delving into Nancy;s horrid past and current psychological problems of her own, it is just great to see that no one else (that we now know of) has been directly connected to any more deaths of innocent p[eople since Nancy’s latest murderous rampage. Thanks Nancy, and keep all of your CNN mandated Psychological appointments, and stay on your prescribed-medications regiment. Good luck to you Nancy, and hopefully you will not kill, or force the killing of, anymore victims this coming week.

I see I'm not the only one "irritated" by Ms. Grace. Her tactics in this case were, I think, far beyond the pale-- even if at some future date we discover Mom was involved. Without absolute proof no mother should be subjected to that sort of abuse. (In fairness, I didn't see the entire interview but what I did see was certainly repellent.)

Thanks for your comment.

Nancy Grace and CNN are officially being sued again for Nancy's documented misconduct involving the Duckett case. It is not because of the actual interview that aired on national television. Rather the lawsuit seeks damages to the way Nancy and CNN conducted the interview with Melinda, not the documented unprofessional accusatory stance Nancy had. Some anaylists say there is only a small chance of a successful lawsuit, by most agree there is a potential of a great winfall to the prospective winners of the up coming case. Here are some additional links.

Last links did not work out as I had hoped. I will try to find a way to get them posted. Sorry, but, they are out there and easy to find in a search on Goggle.

Getting links to post in any comment window is problematic at best. I did Google the whole business and you're right-- info is easy to find and pretty darn comprehensive-- and I'd say convincing that Grace has gone beyond loose cannon stage.
