Blogchosis

There's been quite the furor in the last few days over Mudcat Saunder's comments. Here's what he said:

Happy Hour Roundup | TPMCafe: "...In his inaugural post on Time's Swampland blog: 'So to those bloggers who believe in a straight-forward dialogue and exchange of ideas, God bless you and thank you ... At the same time, those Democratic bloggers, who have appointed themselves as intellectually superior and believe the only way to win an argument is to shot (sic) the loudest with personal attacks, you can go to Hell...'"

All you have to do is lurk a while on the comment threads of any left leaning blog and you will discover what Saunders is talking about. Of course, Right Blogistan is even worse. But for the Left to pretend this behavior doesn't exist is foolish. Now, Saunders is serving as the perfect example of his own criticism and is being attacked as everything from a pious redneck to a closet racist. All of which points out two things: it's a slow time for political news and Democrats, in fact and especially, eat their own during fat times.
