The trouble is, right-wingers ALWAYS say any Democrat running for President is a commie, a Marxist, etc. They have done this with every Democrat running for President since FDR. They called FDR a commie; they called JFK a commie, before he was killed; they called Clinton a commie; they called Kerry a commie, etc., etc.

All the above is quite true, and it reminds me of those old saws about crying wolf, broken clocks, and paranoids.
